SAN DIEGO -- A 911 call about a suspected burglary led to a police pursuit then a foot pursuit in a residential area of Rancho Santa Fe Saturday night. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, a neighbor alerted police to an ongoing burglary at a home in the 6000 block of Poco Lago Saturday evening. The caller described the suspects as three males trying to enter a home. One person was seriously injured following a head-on crash involving a car and a bus in Scarborough. Police say the crash occurred in the area of Sheppard Avenue East and Havenview Road around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.Paramedics tell CityNews the driver of the vehicle was taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries while others were being assessed on scene.Police say two others were eventually taken to hospital with minor injuries. (The Hill) -- A federal judge ruled Friday that Twitter, now known as X, breached its contract with employees when it failed to pay millions in promised bonuses last year.The company promised employees half of their potential bonuses both before and after tech billionaire Elon Musk purchased the company in 2022, but never paid, according to the suit.Mark Schobinger, then the company’s senior director of compensation, brought the lawsuit against the social media platform in June."Once Schobinger did what Twitter asked, Twitter's offer to pay him a bonus in return became a binding contract under California law,” District Judge Vince Chhabria wrote in the opinion. TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- Six people, including one child, were injured in a two-car crash on FM 969 on Sunday afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. The crash happened around 4 p.m. on FM 969 near State Highway 130 in eastern Travis County. ATCEMS said three adults and two teens were taken to the Dell Seton with potentially serious injuries. A child with potentially serious injuries was taken to Dell Children's Medical Center. Anoka County authorities say a motorist was killed in a head-on collision Saturday afternoon in Columbus, Minn.According to the sheriff’s office, a woman was killed when her northbound SUV crossed into the southbound lane of Lake Drive Northeast shortly before 2 p.m. The woman’s SUV collided with a southbound SUV driven by a man.The woman was pronounced dead at the scene near the intersection with 141st Avenue Northeast.
