These Denver area streets are on track to get Bus Rapid Transit

DENVER (KDVR) -- The Colorado Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that it is planning new Bus Rapid Transit routes on some busy Denver streets.Bus Rapid Transit is a program designed to make buses more reliable, quick, convenient and accessible than traditional bus services, according to a press release from CDOT. It does so by giving buses priority over other travel modes and adding bus-only bypass lanes. DENVER (KDVR) -- On Tuesday, the Eisenhower Johnson Memorial Tunnel's Traffic Operations Center revealed its newest updates to help with traffic flow, especially along the Interstate 70 Mountain Corridor.Even without icy roads, I-70 constantly experiences car crashes. During the winter months, this becomes more problematic as road conditions diminish causing more crashes and highway shutdowns. (CNN) — Cruise, General Motors’ self-driving vehicle subsidiary, has recalled all 950 of its autonomous vehicles for a software update. Late last month, Cruise paused all its public testing operations while it investigated the incident that led to the recall.GM had announced Monday that it was pausing production of test versions of the Cruise Origin, a self driving vehicle GM and Cruise designed jointly with Honda. The Origin has no steering wheel or pedals and is not currently operated on public roads. GM characterized the production stop as reaching the end of a planned limited production run of test vehicles. KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukraine’s intelligence agency claimed responsibility for a car bombing Wednesday that killed a member of the Russia-backed authority in the illegally annexed Luhansk region.Mikhail Filiponenko was a member of the local legislature and previously served as police chief.
