The original story continues below.DENVER (KDVR) — Police are searching for a suspect in a Commerce City homicide.According to the Commerce City Police Department, officers were called to a shooting in the area of 78th and Dahlia Street early Monday morning. The area is east of the Pelican Ponds Open Space.It is believed the suspect and the victim knew each other and the incident was not random. The victim was identified as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s. The sales started after voters approved Amendment 64 on the statewide ballot in 2012.Since then, the industry has seen a lot of changes.For the most part, the decade of legal recreational, adult-use cannabis in Colorado has been lucrative years for the industry.The past two years of the decade, however, have industry insiders wondering how to get business booming again. Zach LaVine is close to a return for the Chicago Bulls after missing 15 games with a right foot injury.The star guard on Monday was assigned to the Windy City Bulls — the team’s G League affiliate — to begin contact practices this week.LaVine began to ramp up his activity Dec. 26, testing his comfort level in lateral movements and cutting exercises. One man is in hospital after a fire at a residential townhouse in Scarborough on Monday night.Toronto Fire responded to a call just after 6:45 p.m. in the area of Guildcrest Drive and Guildwood Parkway of a fire at townhouse.Adjoining homes were evacuated and a shelter bus was ordered for residents.Medics assessed two people on scene with reported injuries and one man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.There are road closures in the area.Powerful earthquakes leave at least four dead, destroy buildings along Japan’s western coast

NANAO, Japan (AP) — A series of powerful earthquakes hit western Japan, leaving at least four people dead and damaging buildings, vehicles and boats, with officials warning people in some areas on Tuesday to stay away from their homes because of a continuing risk of major quakes.Aftershocks continued to shake Ishikawa prefecture and nearby areas a day after a magnitude 7.6 temblor slammed the area on Monday afternoon.Four people were confirmed dead in Ishikawa, according to prefecture officials.
