FINAL ROUND OF RAIN

Published Fri, 01 Nov 2024 12:30:00 GMT

FINAL ROUND OF RAIN Happy Monday, South Florida!Hopefully everyone had a great weekend! The weather across South Florida has been quite unsettled as we were on the south side of a weak front since last week. While we saw a few soggy days during the week, the weekend did bring plenty of dry time, followed by our daily dose of downpours and thunderstorms. After days of tracking the front over Florida, it is finally sinking south of our area today. But because we are still on the south side of that front, conditions this morning were very muggy while temperatures were still warm in the 80s.Today, the above mentioned front will push through South Florida and finally put a cap on these stormy and soggy days. First we can expect another [final] round of rain so don’t put away the rain gear just yet because you will be needing them from time to time today. Temperatures will be reaching into the upper 80s with very humid conditions still in the forecast. Also worth mentioning, there is still a coastal flood ad...

Elon Musk mocks Zelenskyy over calls for aid Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk mocked Ukraine’s war-time leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday, using a meme to scoff at the president’s calls for Western aid. “When it’s been 5 min and you haven’t asked for a billion dollars in aid,” read Musk’s message, which accompanied Zelenskyy’s head attached to a famous photo of an agitated schoolboy, who — according to the meme’s etymology — was in a classroom and desperately trying to hold in flatulence. Musk has had a troubled relationship with Ukrainians and the country’s administration since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his full-scale invasion in February 2022, but now they’ve had just about enough of the SpaceX chief and owner of X (formerly Twitter). “So you have bought social media to bully people who are dying because [they] love freedom,” Ukrainian stand-up comedian Anton Tymoshenko wrote in response to Musk’s post.“Elon, did you write this meme during a friendly conversation with ...
