AUSTIN (KXAN) — The total solar eclipse will be visible for millions of Texas in April, but which areas will be in the dark for the longest?KXAN has created a map, using data from Eclipse2024.org to show where 'totality' will be the longest in various Texas cities. The free show dates to 1976 and except for a few cancellations due to weather and the pandemic, they’ve happened every summer. But this year the event is canceled for yet another reason. OAKLAND — A woman was shot Monday morning in East Oakland, authorities said.She was initially listed in critical condition at a hospital.The shooting was reported about 11:57 a.m. Monday on Nicol Avenue just east of Fruitvale Avenue.
