By Annette Choi and Will Mullery | CNNA federal judge in Texas ruled on Friday to suspend the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of mifepristone, the first drug in the medication abortion process, nationwide by the end of this week. The judge sided with the coalition of anti-abortion national medical associations that filed the lawsuit. He argued that the FDA failed to adequately consider risks associated with the drug, including “the intense psychological trauma and post-traumatic stress women often experience from chemical abortion.”However, data analyzed by CNN shows mifepristone is even safer than some common, low-risk prescription drugs, including penicillin and Viagra. There were five deaths associated with mifepristone use for every 1 million people in the US who have used the drug since its approval in 2000, according to the US Food and Drug Administration as of last summer. That’s a death rate of 0.0005%.Comparatively, the risk of death by penici...Suspect who killed 4 in mass shooting at Louisville bank believed to be former employee, police say

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — By the time Jon Rahm walked up the 18th fairway on Sunday, and made like his late idol Seve Ballesteros with a brilliant par save to finish off the Masters, the fact that the Spaniard would be soon slipping into the green jacket had long been decided. The most eventful of tournaments had a most uneventful finish. That was owed to the brilliance of Rahm, who began Sunday four shots back of Brooks Koepka as players arrived early to finish a third round that had been suspended by weather. He cut his deficit two two by the end of the round, pulled ahead on the front nine of the final round, and closed with a 69 for a four-shot victory over Koepka and Phil Mickelson.“We all dream of things like this as players, and you try to visualize what it’s going to be like and what it’s going to feel like,” said Rahm, who had three rounds in the 60s to finish at 12 under for the championship. “Never thought I was going to cry by winning a golf tournament,” he said, “bu...National Gallery of Art in DC is most popular US art museum for 1st time since 2008
