MN 36-Fairview Avenue interchange in Roseville closed for next month

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that the ramps and loops between Minnesota 36 and Fairview Avenue in Roseville will be closed for the next month. The closure took effect Monday.Fairview Avenue between County Road B and County Road B2 will have a single lane open in both directions. There will be right-in, right-out access only in both directions, and no traffic across Fairview through the end of late August.Crews will rebuild and realign the ramps and loops at Minnesota 36 and Fairview Avenue near the mall in Roseville in summer 2023. A 26-year-old St. Paul man has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting last weekend in Minneapolis.According to the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office, Ali Abdul Reed, 26, of St. Paul, died of multiple gunshot wounds.Minneapolis police say that shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday, officers from the 3rd Precinct were called to a shooting in the 2000 block of Chicago Avenue. When they arrived, they found Reed outside with gunshot injuries. Prosecutors say a 17-year-old was the shooter of a 24-year-old in his North St. Paul apartment last week and they charged him with murder Tuesday.Five teens are now charged in all. The Ramsey County attorney’s office also charged a 16-year-old Tuesday with aiding and abetting murder. Three others, each 19 years old, were charged with the same offense last week in the homicide of Anthony R. Rojas.North St. Paul police said they recovered about 20 firearms in the case, along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition.Rojas was killed June 19 in his apartment in the 2100 block of North McKnight Road. Officers sent to the apartment about 6:15 p.m. discovered two open and empty gun safes and a 3D printer in the apartment. AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Ryan T. McCue, 34, of Gloversville. McCue had an active warrant from the Montgomery County Court. Lynch was taken into custody following an investigation into a complaint from a Colonie business that an employee took money without permission. ST. LOUIS -- A groundbreaking for a project to help connect more waterways in Forest Park was held Tuesday morning. This project will continue through the 2023 summer. It will restore several features including the Seven Pools waterfall, Round Lake, Bowl Lake and add a pavilion on its shoreline.This is the final phase of the connected waterway project in Forest Park. It focuses on features in eastern portions of the park. The Forest Park Master Plan has already established a 2.5 nautical mile Taylor Kindle River.
