CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Browns added another speedy wide receiver Friday, agreeing to contract terms with free agent Marquise Goodwin, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press.The 32-year-old Goodwin is getting a one-year deal, said the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the contract has not been signed.Goodwin’s addition comes two days after the Browns acquired wide receiver Elijah Moore in a trade from the New York Jets. Goodwin spent last season with Seattle, finishing with 27 receptions for 387 yards and four touchdowns.Goodwin gives the Browns more depth at wide receiver and another deep target for quarterback Deshaun Watson.Desperate for offensive speed, the Browns have added Moore and Goodwin, who will complement Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones. NEW YORK (AP) — Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic was fined $35,000 on Friday for directing a money sign toward officials in the final seconds of a loss to Golden State.Doncic walked toward officials while rubbing his fingers together with 1.7 seconds left in the 127-125 loss on Wednesday night. The four-time All-Star apparently was upset that a foul wasn’t called when he missed a layup.Dallas was trailing 125-122 when Doncic caught a pass under the basket and his layup bounced off the back of the rim. DETROIT (AP) — Jerry Green, a Detroit sports writer who covered 56 consecutive Super Bowls, has died at 94, The Detroit News said Friday.Green retired as a columnist at the News in 2004 but continued to attend the Super Bowl for the newspaper until this year. His streak began with Green Bay’s 35-10 victory over Kansas City in the first Super Bowl in 1967. “Jerry Green is part of the very fabric of the Super Bowl!” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told the News in January.Green, a native of New York City, died Thursday night, the News reported. A fight between two women near Fort Lauderdale took a dangerous turn when, authorities said, one of them intentionally ran over the other one, leading to the driver’s arrest.Broward Sheriff’s Office responded to a hit-and-run near the 2600 block of Northwest 13th Court, just before 9 a.m., Friday.Upon arrival, deputies located a female victim who showed injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle. Someone fired several shots at a pizza restaurant in Miami and now officials are asking for the public’s help in locating that shooter. According to North Miami Police, the shooting occurred at Steve’s Pizza at 12101 Biscayne Blvd on Wednesday, March 15 just before 12:30 a.m. Police said the subject entered the restaurant and appeared to look for someone. In a surveillance video sent to 7News, the subject could be seen inside the restaurant and then pull out a firearm from his waistband. The subject then walked back out to an outdoor area of the restaurant and fired several rounds at someone outside. No one was injured. Firefighters are working to put out a junkyard fire that broke out in Medley, Friday afternoon. The junkyard is located near Northwest 84th Avenue and 70th Street. As of 4 p.m., there was no word of injuries. Gas compartments and tires from the cars have made it a challenge for crews as they work to contain the Code One fire. Smoke from the fire could be seen from the Palmetto Expressway to the east. An investigation continued Friday after a report that a parent attacked a Boston school bus driver on Tuesday afternoon.Officials said the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. while the driver, a man in his 70s, was completing a route for students from the Taylor School in Boston.Police responded to the scene at Woodrow and Wollaston Terrace. A subsequent driver then finished the drop-offs.Officials said the parent allegedly punched a school bus driver in the face. Police reports also showed the incident happened a day after another incident involving the parent’s daughter. Police in Newmarket, New Hampshire announced an investigation Friday after reports of people feeling sick after eating ice cream at a local restaurant.Investigators said several customers went to area hospitals on March 17 and 18 with symptoms including severe dizziness, weakness and exceptionally high heart rates after eating Angelo’s Amore brand ice cream at Roots Local Cafe and Catering.Newmarket police said some of the customers tested positive for having THC in their system. All of the customers have since recovered.
