Suspended Aurora police Officer Nathan Woodyard, 34, is charged with reckless manslaughter and a lesser included count of criminally negligent homicide in the 2019 death.Woodyard is the third Aurora police officer to stand trial. Man Pronounced Dead after Rollover Crash near Sudden RoadLOMPOC, CA (October 17, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, one victim was airlifted following a UTV rollover incident on San Miguelito Road.Police arrived at the scene at approximately 1:57 p.m., located in the 4800 block of San Miguelito Road near Sudden Road.Per reports, the operator of a Utility Task Vehicle lost control which resulted in a rollover. Amidst the chaos, the UTV then ended up on top of the driver. Colleagues of the victim utilized a water tender and a chain to lift the UTV off the seriously injured person.Medical responders airlifted the injured individual to Marian Medical Center using Calstar Air. 46-Year-Old Los Angeles Man Arrested after Fatal Pedestrian Accident near Aquarium WayLONG BEACH, CA (October 17, 2023) – Saturday evening, a pedestrian accident claimed the life of Romelia Cuarenta Aguilar on Shoreline Drive.The incident transpired at approximately 6:35 p.m., in the vicinity of Aquarium Way.
