One-car crash in Pleasant Hill kills driver PLEASANT HILL — A driver died Tuesday afternoon after the vehicle he drove lost control and slammed into a pair of poles, the California Highway Patrol said.Authorities early Wednesday identified the driver as 26-year-old Walnut Creek resident Akmaljon Khakimov.
