After missing the required number of games, star receiver Justin Jefferson has been designated for return. As a result, Jefferson was able to practice on Wednesday at TCO Performance Center, and the Vikings now have 21 days to activate him from injured reserve.Though this is the first step for Jefferson getting back on the field for a game, it does not necessary mean he will play for the Vikings against the New Orleans Saints this weekend. The medical staff will monitor how Jefferson responds to work in practice before making that decision. The fact that the Vikings have managed to turn things around without their best player is notable. Not only are they are a perfect 4-0 without since Jefferson suffered a hamstring injury in to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Vikings have improved their record to 5-4 in the process to get themselves back into the NFC playoff picture.Related ArticlesMinnesota Vikings | The Loop Fantasy Football Report Week 10: New Viking Dobbs only latest fir...South St. Paul Library to close Dec. 1 ahead of new Kaposia Library opening

Published Fri, 01 Nov 2024 20:26:10 GMT
Steve Jobs said it first in 1996: Content is king. And countless marketers, strategists, and industry leaders have chanted this three-word mantra ever since. While the digital landscape has significantly changed since the ’90s, one thing that remains the same is the importance of content. In fact, great content is more critical than ever today — especially in a digital marketing strategy. What is Content Marketing?“Traditional marketing and advertising is telling the world you’re a rock star. Content Marketing is showing the world that you are one.” -Robert Rose, CEO and Chief Strategy Officer, The Content Advisory. While there are many ways to explain content marketing, at its core, it’s about sharing your brand or company’s story in a way that feels more authentic and useful to the consumer. The Content Marketing Institute (CMI) defines it as a “strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent...“The Marvels”: Brisk team-up affair refuses to take up much of your time | Movie review

Maybe it’s coming in with lowered expectations for the movie after reading the recent Variety piece shedding light on creative issues within the Hollywood powerhouse that is Disney-owned Marvel Studios.Perhaps it’s that it’s the rare big-budget action affair — superhero-centric or otherwise — that doesn’t overstay its welcome, clocking in at well under two hours.Or, you know, it could just be that “The Marvels” is pretty fun.Directed and co-written by Nia DaCosta, the 33rd big-screen affair in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a pedal-to-the-medal and often humorous adventure that serves as a sequel to both the 2019 movie “Captain Marvel” and the 2020 MCU Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel.”It brings together the namesake heroines from those projects, Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, respectively, along with Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, who form a powerful, if also initially awkward, trio. (While Monica is introduced as a child in “Captain Marvel,” s...Broncos’ offensive line, healthy and growing together, wants Denver to keep pounding the rock in season’s second half

For an offensive lineman, there’s virtually nothing better than running the ball over and over. And over. And over. The high that comes with that wears off slowly. It can even carry through a bye week. So, too, can the confidence that comes with playing together up front game after game. The Broncos in 2022 used 10 different offensive line combinations but so far this year have needed no such patchwork. The quintet of left tackle Garett Bolles, left guard Ben Powers, center Lloyd Cushenberry, right guard Quinn Meinerz and right tackle Mike McGlinchey have not only started all eight games together, but they’ve played 483 of 485 offensive snaps. McGllinchey got rolled up on early in the fourth quarter of Denver’s 70-20 loss to Miami in Week 3 and missed two snaps, but was back in the game for the rest of the outing.“It’s a tremendous help to have all of us and have as many snaps as we’ve had together,” Meinerz told reporters Tuesday. “There’s nothing that can replace those gameday reps to...Colorado funeral home owner, wife linked to handling of 190 bodies arrested in Oklahoma
